About SORA
You can use SORA to track and manage your health symptoms, get
personalised
health care plans; access specialist doctors (UK only), therapists,
nutritionists; home-test kits (UK only), prescriptions (UK only),
and medically approved articles and videos.
SORA can be personalised based on your condition, giving you an
individualised experience. SORA helps you manage your symptoms, find
patterns between your lifestyle and symptoms, and speak to
specialists who understand.
My Responsibilities
As a UX/UI designer for the SORA app, my role involves a range of
tasks to ensure that the app provides a seamless user experience for
our users. One of my primary responsibilities is conducting UX
research to better understand the needs and goals of our users. This
includes tasks such as conducting interviews, usability testing, and
questionnaires, which helps us gain insights into user behavior and
preferences.
Based on the insights gathered from UX research, I collaborate with
the development team to design the app's user interface (UI) with an
emphasis on usability, accessibility, and user-centered design
principles. This involves creating wireframes, prototyping, and UI
design, considering the app's overall look and feel, typography,
color palette, and iconography.
In addition to designing the UI, I also conduct industry design
research to keep abreast of the latest design trends and to ensure
that the app's design is modern and relevant. I also conduct
accessibility audits to ensure that the app meets accessibility
standards and can be used by people with disabilities.
To continually improve the app's UX/UI design, I conduct surveys,
analyze user feedback and app usage data, and provide
recommendations for design improvements. I also work closely with
the development team to ensure that the design is implemented
correctly and to address any issues that arise during
development.
Overall, my work as a UX/UI designer for the SORA app is focused on
creating a seamless user experience that helps users manage their
health symptoms, connect with specialists, and access health-related
resources with ease.
